Duties:
- Day to day service calls on fire alarms, electrical, emergency lighting,
generator systems.
- On-call rotational service after hours is required (1 week on, 4 weeks off).
- Small projects up to 1 week in length.
- Exposure to a variety of systems and areas (i.e. electrical, fire alarm, etc).
Qualifications/Requirements:
- CFAA certification & Electrician or Apprentice license is a must.
- 3 years prior Canadian experience is a MUST.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Clean driving and insurance record.
Compensation:
- Very competitive hourly rate.
- Working hours are 40-45 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
- Company service vehicle is provided (take home).
- Specialty tools and equipment are provided where needed.
- Uniform service, ETR transponder, gas card, insurance.
Duties:
- Annual inspections of fire alarms, sprinkler systems, emergency lighting,
portable equipment.
- Monthly inspections of fire alarms, sprinkler systems, emergency lighting,
portable equipment.
- Small repairs to above systems when required.
- Verifications of newly installed fire alarm systems.
- Assistance to service department or construction department employees from
time to time.
- No on-call rotational after hours service is required however you will be
called on from time to time to assist should the service department become very
busy or to fill in for another on-call tech who is ill or experiences trouble
(expect 2-3 calls a month).
Qualifications/Requirements:
- CFAA certification is a must.
- 3 years prior Canadian experience performing annual/monthly inspections is a
MUST.
- General knowledge of sprinkler system testing is required.
- Experience with all makes and models of fire alarm systems typically in use.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Clean driving and insurance claims record.
Compensation:
- Industry competitive hourly rate.
- Working hours are 40 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 7:30AM to 6:00PM.
- Working Fridays occasionally when we are very busy (expect 1 Friday a month
average).
- Company vehicle is provided (take home).
- Specialty tools and equipment are provided where needed.
